Fixed Deposits

Fixed Deposits are considered to be a trustworthy way of investing money in India. At Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society, these fixed deposits are easily accessible and hassle-free to manage. Along with the regularly fixed deposit scheme, we offer a short term deposit scheme as well. This short term deposit scheme can be availed for a period of 3 months to 9 months with a low amount of deposit. In return, you fetch an interest rate of 7% to 9.75%. Thus, you can fill both, the short-term requirements and the long-term requirements of your girl child.

A-3 Deposit Scheme

If you are planning to send your girl abroad after a period of 3 years, then this scheme will work out best for you. A-3 Deposit scheme allows you to invest for a period of 3 years so that you can fetch one and a half times of the deposit amount in the end. Further, the initial amount of deposit is Rs.500 with further deposits to be made in multiples of Rs.100.

Adarsh Bachat Patra

Adarsh Bachat Patra is a part of Adarsh Special schemes. Under this investment scheme, your invested amount will get doubled after a period of 72 months. Hence, you can plan further studies of your girl child well. And like our other schemes, the initial deposit amounts are as low as Rs.500 followed by further investments in multiples of Rs.100.

10 Year Flexi Deposit scheme

Being more flexible of the regularly fixed deposit scheme, 10 Year Flexi Deposit scheme is ideal, to begin with, the financial planning for your girl child. It offers an interest rate varying from 13.5% to 15% for a minimum amount of deposit starting from Rs.1,000 and further deposits to be made in multiples of Rs.1,000. Other benefits like prematurity facility and loan facility can also be availed under the scheme.

Celebrating 20 years of Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society

It all began with the legendary vision of Mr Mukesh Modi. After spending a long time of his life in a regular way as everyone does, he realised that he wanted to do something for the betterment of the people of the society. His realisation led to the foundation of Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society in the year 1999 in a small town of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The Credit Co-operative Society began in a form of small society, initially, to cater to the needs of the local masses in Rajasthan, the majority of whom who belonged from the agricultural background. The message was clear: This Credit Co-operative Society is meant to uplift the weaker sections of our weaker sections belonging to the rural areas of the country.

The journey so far:

In the past 20 years, Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society has evolved from that small credit co-operative to the largest credit co-operative society of India. We received the status of Multistate Credit Co-operative Society by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India in February 2008. Since then, we have strived to grow and connect the rural parts of India to the mainstream. Today, in 2019, we have more than 800 branches, 3.7 lakh advisors and more than 2 million members in our society. We have embraced various trends in the market which are beneficial to the members of our society. One such trend is the wave of digitisation which has impacted the world immensely. We brought up our mobile application, the Adarsh Money mobile application, for both advisors and members. By doing so, we became the first Credit Co-operative of India to have our own mobile application. This mobile application now accounts for 99% of our regular transactions.

When it comes to investment schemes, our investment schemes have got better and better with every passing year. Train the trainer

Adarsh Credit organizes “Train the trainer” program in Ahmedabad

The leaders of an organization have a lot of responsibility on them. It is their duty to motivate and encourage the people working under them. They are also the role models for their advisors. Hence, they need to set an example for them. Adarsh Credit understands the significance of good leaders in an organization and thus held a “train the trainer” program wherein leaders of Adarsh were provided proper guidance. This program aimed to inculcate a sense of co-operation amongst its leaders.

Adarsh Credit – Encouraging leaders

“Train the trainer” seminar organized by Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. taught leaders the technique to work together in a team with positive thinking. The first part of the program focused on how to get things done in an organization smoothly. It is essential for the leaders to guide their advisors in the right direction. Therefore, Adarsh Credit also focused on this significant point and explained them how to mould the mindset of people amongst their team and lead them towards the goal. Additionally, time management and income management were also discussed during the first part of the program.

Leaders need to think in advance on behalf of the advisors and prepare a plan accordingly. However, prioritizing is also equally important when planning for the future. In the second part of the program, they also informed their leaders about setting priorities before planning for the future. They also explained the importance of allocating resources and maintaining relationships.

In the next stage of the program, they discussed various ways to reach out to the deprived sections of the society. Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. was developed on the foundation of uplifting the rural sector of society. Hence, they organize several meets in rural areas to promote the importance of savings. This learning was also passed on to leaders during the third part of “train the trainer” program. During the last stage of the program, the managing director of Adarsh Credit – Mr. Rahul Modi discussed future plans with the leaders. In addition to Mr. Modi, the heads of different departments also addressed the leaders about several problems encountered on the field. They also provided appropriate legal and technical solutions for the challenges faced.

Adarsh Credit thus realizes the importance of good leaders and their impact on organizations. “Train the trainer program” was a success and it saw participation from all the leaders of the organization.

Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. has always worked very hard and put in all the efforts to reach at the top position. We, at Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society, have adopted the world’s most prominent technology and tools for core financial solutions and mobility solutions. This is how Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society has become successor in terms of reliability and sustainability among its members. Since we have started, we have been serving more members day in and day out. For this, we had to make sure that our systems work round the clock, which demanded increasing software and hardware costs which ultimately began to hurt our margins.

Without much strategic planning, we went through a phase of adding servers. We were running around several physical servers at our primary data center and around the same number at our secondary site. The lists of solutions were expanding and the server platform was getting bigger. We had to take steps as the costs were increasing day by day. As we were operating with very low margins, it was essential for us to keep the expenses as low as possible.

Later on, we turned into virtualization and were able to run more virtual machines on the physical servers with VMware, compared to our competition. From all our servers, around 95% are now visualized and we expect this figure to reach 100% soon. So after all; everything went good also from the cost perspective.

This is how, through infrastructure and technology, we have become successor in terms of growth and reliability.
